Jones Family {Indianapolis Area Portrait Photographer}
The Jones Family met with me at the James Whitcomb Riley Home in downtown Indianapolis. Even though I have lived in this area for close to 14 years now, I have never been to this city landmark! I have heard of it, seen pictures of it, and even talked about going to see it. I just never made the time. I was so happy to hear this is where they wanted to meet for their family portraits. It turned out great. What a great spot for an outdoor Holiday shoot. See for yourself:
Fishman Family {Indianapolis Area Portrait Photographer}
I met the Fishman family at their home on the Northeast side of Indianapolis. All they wanted was a few photos for Christmas. So, we used the fireplace as a backdrop, with their pretty Christmas wreath to give it that Holiday feel, and this is what we came up with:
Zemke Family {Indianapolis Area Portrait Photographer}
The Zemke Family had me come out to their home for a few family photos, and even more of their two very adorable sons. Their beautiful home was great for a portrait session. We did a few photos in front of the fireplace, and headed outside to brave the chilly November air for a shot of the family on the back patio. The oldest of the two boys was a little ham! He got really giggly and wanted to see every photo I took on the back of the camera. I, of course, had no problem showing him his handsome smile!
Malone Family {Indianapolis Area Portrait Photographer}
The Malone Family met with me at Washington Township Park in Avon, IN. As you can see from previous sessions, this has become a popular spot with my clients. We decided to head down one of the trails to a wooden bridge, and a fallen tree to use as our setting. After we were finished in that spot, we headed up to the pond. There are just so many possibilities at this park, making it a perfect spot for portraits year round!
Moore Family {Indianapolis Area Portrait Photographer}
Had a great time with the Moore Family in Greenwood! I love this spot for photos. No matter the occasion, there are so many possibilities. Railroad tracks, an old Co-op building, gazebos, trees, bridges, a creek……
We used the entire space for this shoot. The boys seemed to be having a lot of fun. The little girl, was more interested in her patent leather shoes and her dress!
We ended up with some great photos for this family to had out as Christmas gifts to all of their family!
Beesley Family {Indianapolis Area Portrait Photographer}
The Beesley family met me at the Conservatory in White River Gardens. Many people think of this as the butterfly garden, though the butterflies no longer reside there. They currently are holding their Orchid show, and are decorated for Christmas. The butterflies may return in the future, but for now, it is just the Hilbert Conservatory at White River Gardens and the Indianapolis Zoo.
For those of you that are not aware of it, I do have a membership to the zoo that allows me to bring two guests in. So, if you are interested in having your photo shoot at the Zoo and/or White River Gardens, that is always an option!
The weather was not cooperating with us, so it was nice to have the beautifully decorated indoor gardens to use as our backdrop for this session. We did make it outdoors for a couple of the shots, but most were from inside. I always get excited when it is time for a shoot at the Zoo/Gardens. Such a beautiful spot so close to downtown!
The Kesler Family {Indianapolis Area Portrait Photographer}
I had a wonderful time with the Kesler family. I met with them the morning of Thanksgiving for a large family shoot.
Normally I do not schedule anything on a holiday, but I made an exception since Mrs. Kesler’s son is in the military and he was coming home from California with his new wife for everyone to meet. I was not disappointed in my decision at all. We had a fabulous hour together.
The Humphreys Family | Indianapolis Area Portrait Photographer
The Humphreys family met me near Washington Township Park in Avon. It was a chilly but sunny day. The kids did great, despite the nip in the air. The wind wasn’t being super cooperative, but we made it work. Even the baby was all smiles during this family session.
Thank you very much, Humphreys family. It was a pleasure working with you! I hope you enjoy your portraits!
The Blacks | Indianapolis Area Portrait Photographer
A new family and their new home….and their new Murphy! The Blacks recently purchased a new home and wanted to have their Christmas card photo taken at the new house. There was still a For Sale sign in the front yard that the Realtor hadn’t even added a sold sign to yet. But, they brought their little Christmas tree to put on the front porch, and we got their Christmas card photos.
Murphy, the couple’s Goldendoodle, was all ready to dress up for photos too. He had his red scarf, and he even had his Santa hat and beard! He wasn’t really having the beard, but he did pose with the hat for a few photos.
I wish this young family all the best in the coming new year in their new home!
Tyler – Class of 2012 | Indianapolis Senior Photographer
On November 16th, I met Tyler downtown at White River State Park for his Senior Portraits. We started by the Welcome Center and walked our way to the Government Building. We stopped at several great spots along the way. Tyler was extremely fun to work with. I wish this young man all the luck in the future as he gets ready to attend college next Fall.
